MOSAIC MUSIC STUDIO
Welcome to Mosaic Music Studio, where you can discover your true voice!
I teach all ages and I'm a firm believer that ANYONE can sing! My approach is tailored to each individual student and I incorporate my knowledge of anatomy and body awareness into all my lessons. I teach all styles of singing, including Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock and Jazz. I start with a base foundation in solid vocal technique and add 'tools' from various styles into each student's 'tool box'.
Students can hone their technique, work on mic skills, stage a piece, learn theory and piano skills, all in a supportive atmosphere.
Registered lessons (Sept-June bundle)
Registered students receive the opportunity to perform in 2 yearly recitals and a Masterclass (a group lesson with students of a similar age and ability level), as well as a discounted hourly rate.
Registered lessons are ideal for children and young adults who wish to build a solid technical foundation to their singing.
Casual lessons (pay weekly or in 4-6 lesson bundles)
Casual students can sign up for the recital and masterclass and can choose to bundle lessons to save. (Please note, casual lessons are on a week by week basis to accommodate my performance schedule)
Casual lessons are ideal for adults and young adults who wish to polish their skills and prepare for auditions, or other teachers who want to gain some insight into their pedagogical approach.
I have had several students go on to University to study Classical Voice as well as Musical Theatre and Drama and Music Therapy.
Students have also received top honours from; NATS (both locally in southern Ontario and Regionally in the Great Lakes region), ORMTA provincial winners, Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph, Ontario Music Federation (Provincial Kiwanis competitions) and Gold medal winners from the Royal Conservatory in Music (top marks across the country in their grade).
I've also taught several students who are themselves now successful teachers!
Piano lessons are also available. Beginner to Level 6 Royal Conservatory.
